Hello! We’re Dean & Julie.
Dean graduated from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park in 2002 and has been cheffing ever since. From New York to Florida, Colorado (where he and Julie met and got married!), Philadelphia to here in RI! He has specialized in catering and large scale venues like colleges and hotels and locally worked at a vegan restaurant in Providence where he was able to stretch his vegan skills and realized the lack of availability across the state.
Dean has always passion for international food and after Dean and Julie traveled to 44 countries together shortly after getting married, Dean was really able to expand his knowledge in different cuisines and loves to apply it in a vegan way, and that’s how SoCo Vedge was born!
Julie loves all things people facing, so keep an eye out for her social media posts, weekly emails and even as the smiling face delivering your meals. She loves being the Sous Chef in kitchen and to help craft the fun menus each week. Plus.. she is the self proclaimed “stamp of approval” when tasting all the dishes!
